What happened to the single metric workout view option?!?

Updated to WatchOS 8 and it appears that the option to change the workout view from multi metric to single metric is no longer available. Is this correct???

Definitely not the same thing. The single metric view just showed one metric on the screen BUT you could scroll through all the metrics that you have included using the digital crown. Currently, if i select "do not include" as you suggest just to see one metric, i can no longer use the digital crown to scroll through and see the others. I still want to see the other metrics, but at a quick glance.

Glad to know that i'm not the only one with this issue. Fingers crossed it is just a glitch and it comes back with updates. Don't bother calling Apple support. Spent entirely too long trying to explain what was wrong and the person kept telling me how to update my OS even when i told him he was not listening to me and i had ALREADY updated to the current OS which resulted in this issue. Then it got escalated and during the transfer i was disconnected. Apple should do better with the amount of money we spend on these **** products.

i can’t drag heart rate into the do not include section. I, too, would like to have the single metric and be able to scroll to another if desired, but what’s really annoying is the pool swim workout. Not only does it force me to include the heart rate, which I don’t want, the metrics are tiny. I’m trying to take a quick look at my time, under water and through goggles, I need the time to be as large as possible so I can see it easily.

it would be really great if you could set either multiple metrics or single metrics for individual workouts. I’d like the multiple metrics for running, but the single metric (filling the whole screen) is so much easier for swimming.

The single metric option is vital for people using reading glasses - and do not want to wear them running. Could also be some other kind of method to get LARGE digits.

The single metric was removed now.

Apparently, people over 40 are not supposed to use the app?Sorry, but you are answering to something completely different than what is the issue.

Someone at Apple, please do explan why on earth you remove such a feature. I assume you had some kind of logic behind, but just did not realize the usefulness or maybe you knew and just chose to ignore?
