finding people in Apple Music

In apple music, I want to use the search to find my friends (that I don't already follow as this is the only way I can I do not have them in my contacts) and their playlist but "people" does not come up and a list of profiles with those names do not come up. How can this be fixed? the only help I have seen is from 2018 and the iPhone settings are no longer the same so cannot try it (turning off restrictions basically?)

Hi

this is not helpful as I explained in the question when you search for a person's name no names come up at all. I have even tried on a friend's apple music to search myself however no profiles come up at all ... I'm wondering why and what can be done about it?

The article does not help. I also do not have their contact to follow them that way and I know they have apple music accounts.

cheers,
