I lost the Apple TV remote
thats why the “remote” app was useful, now I cannot use my Apple TV , how do I access my Apple TV without the actual remote just the app???

What is your model Apple TV? Identify your Apple TV model - Apple Support
- If you have an Apple TV (3rd generation or later), then you can use the software Apple TV Remote in Control Center.
- If you have an Apple TV (2nd generation), then you can continue to use the old software Apple TV Remote app from the App Store* on iOS 14 or earlier, or you can buy a replacement remote.
* The app was removed from the App Store in mid 2020, so it is not available for download anymore.
