Hello, I have tried all variants and also reseting but I have notifications from all other apps and messages except facebook and messenger. I must go into the app and than i see that someone was texted me (the person isnt muted). It is very annoying because i dont knon if someone was texted me till i get into the app. Help please and thank you very much

I’m also having the same problem and can’t work out how to fix it.
the only way I know if I have a message on messenger is if I go into the app 😬🤦♀️ Not ideal when trying to arrange an appt over the course of a few days.

While my opinion of Facebook and its products is not high, the advice to contact them when you have a problem with their products is not a joke. No one else can fix FB's software.
Yep me too. Ever since the iOS 15 update. I no longer get FB Messenger notifications or sounds in any form despite everything being turned on accurately. I have also deleted and reinstalled the app. Still have the same problem.
I have the same issue and I find out that the reason behind it was a specific app that was not updated yet and that caused bugs to the system and made the notifications not to show up and once it got updated, you will get notifications for all apps.
Bottom line, just update all apps you have and that should solve the issue.
But this didn’t help or to solve the problem
Delete the apps and re-install them. If that fails, contact the developer.

This is happening for me too. Done everything suggested but it's no help.
I am using iphone 6s ios15 and having the same issue with FB Messenger, all set as it should be but no notification sign.
Also having that issue with storage almost full even thats not the case.

I don't think so but that's a question to as Facebook.
Same problem here… no ribbon notification on messenger FB app. Annoying…… and 2 more friends have the same problem
Sounds like FB has some updating to do.
