iOS 14.8 fails update on iPhone 7 Plus on expanded network

When attempting to update iPhone 7 Plus on Boost Mobile Expanded Network it gets to about 50% of the download & install portion and then fails.


I have powered phone off multiple times & went through the process once I have powered it back on.


I have disconnected from Wi-Fi and re-connected.


I updated my password.


I had plugged it in to the charger and unplugged from charger yet to still fail in the download & install portion.


This morning my 4:00 AM alarm clock didn't go off. However, my 6:00AM alarm clock that was disabled went off.


Not sure what is going on but I need to update my device to 14.8 so I can upgrade to iOS 15.


What other steps or process do I need to go through to get these updates so my phone will function?

Please try the steps in the section titled “If the update doesn’t complete” here: If your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch won’t update - Apple Support 


If you are  still unable to update, please use your Mac or Windows computer to update:  Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
