Shut Down - Cannot stop it!

Recently - after an OS Upgrade for my MacBook Pro - the system shuts down every night and/or after a long period of time even though i have it set to never shut down when i have it plugged in. How do i make it stop????

Yes, thank you for that important point - it gets stuck on the login. So you're right - it's not shutting down, it's logging me off. I adjusted the security settings (unchecked log off after x time> box and that should do the trick.

Does the MacBook Pro restart at any point or do you have to manually power it back on again?


Are all your apps fully updated in the App Store?
