my email went missing after ios 15 update

I have the same problem on my Mom’s ipad! Thought I was doing her a favor by updating her IOS software but it messed up her email totally! I did everything on google including deleting her email account and re-installing it. Still not getting email. This is ridiculous since it seems to be a common problem when people update their software to 15.1. What’s up Apple???If this is a common problem then fix it! My Mom is 93 and simply cannot deal with issues like this!

Why I appreciate your solution However my folders are all empty I can get new emails but the upgrade deleted old emails and emptied out all my folders the folders are there but empty sad but I don’t believe I’ll get them back. Even tho everything is on the cloud

Same here, I have lost like 6 weeks of email juste in one of my account. It is frustrating cause they comfirmations for orders for Christmas and tracking numbers, so now I can't follow my package and if they do not arrive i have nothing to prove that i have bought them.. I have an Hotmail account if anyone have solve this issue plus let me know.

Exact problem for me too. All my labels and sent emails are gone in Gmail whether accessed through Mail App or Desktop. Years of labeled emails are impossible to restore. Can be searched for on desktop and then told it was deleted and gives me a hyperlink to restore it. Great! That does me no good for hundreds of labeled emails I labeled for a reason. All after switching to new iPhone 13 pro.

The same thing happened to me after I upgraded to iOS15. My email disappeared.

I see weird folders in my accounts that iOS15 created/rearranged. It's a bad deal if this is a bug.

I tried logging onto my Mac Air and still the same thing. It’s like. Time period of emails with attachments that are missing. I don’t know how this happened. It’s extremely frustrating.

i Too am experiencing this issue. My emails are missing. I’ve removed, restarted, and re-added the account and still nothing. This is annoying!

Ok did that. I saw a lot more of my emails but many of the attachments for emails that I’ve flagged are still missing. :/

Its a bug in ios15. Gmail was the reason I didn’t lose my email.

This doesn’t seem to be gmail specific. I’m having the same issue with my iCloud email. If I log in via the web or my Mac they are all there, just not on the phone.
