deleting nuisance app

App is 5kplayer, a video editor. Will not quit. Unable to trash it. Tried "su", "sudo" in terminal. Still there. Trash says unable to delete, "in use". Not in use. Still in Application folder on iMac.

Do you see this icon in your menubar, if so click on it and quit 5K Player.

Or click the top left of the screen click on Force Quit.

Does 5K Player appear there, if so press Force Quit.

Now drag 5K player to the Trash, empty the Trash.

Or simply restart your mac, and if 5K Player has not been selected to open at login

then you should be able to drag it to the Trash, empty the Trash.
