Where can I find Calendar subscriptions (other than icalshare.com)?

I searched everywhere (online, Apple Support, Apple Communities) but can’t find a single reference for "where" or "how" to locate calendar subscriptions (other than icalshare.com which proved worthless).

I found countless references for how to add subscriptions to Calendar which is pointless if you can’t even find any subscriptions to add! ARGH!

I’m frustrated (can you tell?); please help!

Thank you very much!

If you are looking for a site that hosts various different calendars, I don’t think many exist. And, if the do, the calendars may not be up to date anymore.

Apple doesn’t host them except the Holidays calendar accessed through the preferences. It’s so full of useless dreck it isn’t particularly useful, though. I made my own on iCloud and subscribe to that from all my devices.

What type of calendar information are you trying to get? Maybe searching for that would turn up calendars to which you can subscribe.

I searched https://www.calendarlabs.com/ical-calendar/ for "sun" and "moon" iCal calendars but, unfortunately, didn’t find anything. Indeed, their "LIST OF 2021 'US' ICAL CALENDARS" only contained two US calendars plus three international calendars while their "List of 2021 US iCal Calendars" was completely blank:

I’m befuddled that, as opposed to a few years ago when iCal calendars were ubiquitous, they’re essentially unobtainable now, what happened?

Regardless, thank you, very much, for answering!

Primarily astronomical; I searched for sun and moon calendars but the only two I found, at http://icalshare.com/, were old and no longer updated or accessible.

Only a few years ago, essentially the opposite problem existed because there were so many calendars available that I had to discipline myself to only choose the most worthy for my interests; what transpired to obliterate this paradigm?

Thank you for your reply!

Cheers!
