Hello Chamika_ek,

It sounds like you are experiencing performance issues when taking screen shots. We understand how important this is to you and we are here to help.

Let's restart your Mac and test to see if the issue persists: Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac

If the issue persists, let's create a new user and see if we can replicate the issue: Set up users, guests, and groups on Mac

Let us know if the same thing happens in a new user account as this will help us determine if this is user specific or a systemwide issue.

Cheers!
