Hi everyone,
I have a numbers file that I share with my notes app (mainly with my ipad air 4) via the « share » button as i want to have a quick access to this numbers file from my notes. Problem is each time i am opening the link from the note, it creates a new instance of the numbers file.
Am I doing something wrong ?

thank you very much for your support i followed the guide and it worked perfectly. Actually my mistake was to use the "share" button on top of my number file using notes app for sharing. It worked as it created a link in my notes app but as i explained each time i used this link from notes app it created a new instance of the number file. When i said "new instance" i mean a new file with a _2 in the name of the new file.
With the "collaborate with myself" option it works properly. Thanks again for your time.

From what you've described, it seems like you're collaborating with yourself: Invite others to collaborate in Numbers on iPad We're sharing this guide to make sure everything has been set up properly and you're using the "Copy and paste the link section".
You've also mention it creating a new instance, is it a new row or is it filling in information on a cell? We'd suggest testing out if selecting a blank cell when you close makes a difference.
