Using colour filter

I’m using a colour filter from accessibility options on my iPhone. I have a had the screen replaced and the colour seemed a little bit off so I applied the filter in settings and now everything seems better except for in the photos app. The colours seem off for all my photos because the filter is turned off for the photos app. I can see the difference when I switch between a photo that has been shared through an iMessage and the photo app. Same photo but the colour filter changes the look so the colours of the iMessage photo are normal as it should, but photos app looks off even with the filter. Is there an option to keep this filter applied in the photo app? I cant find it if there is. Would make using my phone much more enjoyable since I’m more likely to view photos in the photos app. Thanks in advance

Hello marzied,

Thanks for reaching out in Apple Support Communities. We're happy to help.

Changing the color filters, while that helps, shouldn’t be the resolution. You need the colors filtering properly as they were before the display was changed.

Having your display changed shouldn’t have changed the appearance of the photos in either app or your different apps on the iPhone. Was the repair done at an Apple Authorized Service Provider or Apple Store? If so, you may want to reach back out to them and let them know.
