Streaming local stations
I just got Apple TV. How do I stream local stations?

See if your local stations have apps. Everything on Apple TV is app-based.
If a local station is affiliate part of a nationwide network, then the “parent” app may have functionality for local content.
Over-the-air stations may be received with a HDHomeRun receiver and the Channels app.
