Why am I asked for my full ss#?

Hi, your full Social Security number is required by Goldman Sachs Bank (the Apple Card issuing bank and servicer) so that a “soft pull” of your FICO 9 credit report can be done through TransUnion. If you’re approved for the Apple Card and you accept the Credit Line, APR interest rate and terms and conditions, Goldman Sachs will do a “hard pull” of your credit report.
