lost details for apple id and can't erase iphone

i am trying to erase my iPhone 12 and pass on to my daughter but my Apple id is blocked.

my e-mail was with AOL who disconnected it and can't remember security settings :_ oh dear

Is this phone just unusable now or can it be somehow rescued.
