Apple Watch 4 Sudden White Screen

Hello, recently my Watch 4 started to act up. I woke up, took it off its charger and it was working perfectly fine. An hour later I looked down at it an the screen was all white as shown in the picture.

I've tried doing a hard reset (pushing dial and button at the same time), and I've tried unpairing with no luck. I've even tried draining the battery and then recharging but no luck.

After doing some more reading I heard that there is a screen curtain which may be causing this, but my watch is now unpaired so there's no way to control it with my phone, and there's no way to repair. Is this watch dead, or can it be reset somehow to turn off the curtain if that is indeed the problem?

Some additional clarifications, the white screen is visible for a few seconds when I hard restart, and when I place on the charger. Other than that the screen is black. Any assistance or suggestions would be great.

It sounds like a hardware problem. The quickest way to get the problem diagnosed and resolved to to make an appointment at the Genius Bar in an Apple Store near you and let them look at it. If that is not possible, use the online Apple Support. Either way:
