Hp 6835 printer will not airprint from iphone, why not?
iPhone 12, iOS 14
Hi,
Have you checked that the printer and the iPhone are connected to the same Wi-Fi network (router)?
If all settings are OK, you could perhaps try the following power-cycling sequence: Power off the router, the printer, the iPhone, and all other devices/computers. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the router. Wait two to three minutes. Power on the printer. Wait a minute or two. Power on the iPhone. Finally, power on all other devices/computers.
The HP Officejet Pro 6835 e-All-in-One Printer is not listed in About AirPrint - Apple Support as a model supporting the AirPrint technology (an HP OfficeJet Pro 6830 e-All-in-one is). The product specifications (https://support.hp.com/us-en/product/hp-officejet-pro-6830-e-all-in-one-printer-series/5390307/model/7107898/document/c04268294) are vague regarding the 6835 and AirPrint, but clear about the 6830 series. I guess that your model is an AirPrint-enabled printer, but you may want to double-check this (also, check that the printer has the latest firmware).
