MacBook Pro goes into deep sleep when battery is half full
My MacBook Pro (13", 2017) often goes into deep sleep (safe sleep?) while I'm using it when the battery is anywhere from 40 to 60% (never at exactly the same %).
It shows the red low-battery icon on screen and I can't wake it again without plugging it back in. When it wakes, the battery is still at whatever it was, usually between 40 and 60%.
Other days the battery will last normally without sleeping, so the % being shown is accurate.
Battery health is Normal. Optimized Battery Charging is on. Manage Battery Longevity is also on.
I've reset the SMC and NVRAM/PRAM a few times.
This has happened through numerous system updates, including Catalina through latest version of Big Sur.
I normally keep it plugged in as I work from home, but I will run it off the battery at least once a week.
Any ideas as to why this might be happening?
