I tried to record my screen using shift+command+5 when wearing AirPods. (I was listening not speaking, and I wanted to capture the audio part) But when I played the recording, there was no sound in it. The audio part was missing.
Is it possible to record the sound from AirPods when screen recording on Mac?

We understand you were trying to record the audio from a video while you had your AirPods on, but it didn't record the audio. We'd be happy to provide information about this.
Prior to starting the recording, you would have to select the microphone from which you want to record from the options that appear. However, there are some sites and apps that do not allow video or audio recording due to DRM protection.
