Yes but please do not use a third party VPN unless you want to totally mess up your Apple TV viewing experience. It simply is not necessary.

I need something as I’m in the US and BBC iPlayer isn’t available and so won’t run (without VPN) in US.
I have a UK Apple ID and have downloaded the app onto my Apple TV, but because it’s region-specific, it won’t play. I need to fool the Apple TV into thinking I’m in the UK. Hence my original VPN question.
Could you please explain how to do it?

If there is an app called the BBC iPlayer, go to the App Store - navigate to the Search and look for that app and download it. If there is no app then it does not work on the Apple TV.
I am actually wanting help on using a VPN on Apple TV. I know how to download an app. Thanks for the help.
