How do I update my credit card

I am the “organizer” in my family group and my credit card needs to be updated, when I follow the directions of tapping on the card nothing happens and the edit button is grayed out. My phone is updated and have tried everything I can think of any help would be so great

Not able to update (or edit) my credit card. OK, I've gone through every link and support message I can find but still have the same problem. I'm trying to update my credit card info as it has a new expiration date and security code on the back, but when I click on "edit" to change it there is now way to change anything. It just takes me to the card. I have active subscriptions on the card so I cant remove the card and start over. What am I missing. I have done it in the past. My phone software is up to date at 13.4 and have an iPhone 7. Any help would be appreciated. Eric

Can’t add new payment card to Apple ID I would like to add a new payment card to my Apple ID but it is greyed out so I can’t select it. I also got a new credit card which has the same number as the old one but new CVV and expiry date and it won’t let me update those details either. I can’t remove that card. I have no current subscriptions on my phone. We have family sharing across our 5 family member phones, my husband is the organiser of that. All 3 kids have the same credit card saved on their phones for emergency use. any thoughts?
