Logitech Camera "Detected Motion" notifications

Hello,

I have updated to iOS 15 and now my 3 Logitech cameras send me a notification every 10 seconds about detected motion. There doesnt seem to be any way to stop motion detected notifications.

I am getting hundreds of these notifications per hour. The phone is constantly turning on and vibrating from this.

If I disable all notifications for all of my cameras my phone will stop, however that makes the cameras much less functional. How do I stop these constant notifications??

Hello User7849!

From what we understand you're running into trouble with HomeKit related notifications with your Logitech cameras.

Just to confirm, are you using the Logitech third-party app with the cameras, HomeKit or both?

If so, does this happen after removing the cameras from either app or HomeKit?

Removing the devices and adding them back could help resolve the issue. You can also manage the notification as well.

removing them and adding again doesnt work. The issue seems to be iOS 15 now sends a notification any time the cameras detect motion. It did not used to do this, so I think there is a bug. The cameras use the motion detector to trigger the recording, then only save the recording after it has decided its something you want recorded. it used to send a notification after this point, however now it sends a notification right when the motion sensor detects anything.

We need a way to disable notifications for motion detections, or a way to separate the "motion detector" tile in Homekit from the "camera" tile, and disable notifications for that one sensor.
