How to arrange annotations in Preview.

When I am editing a pdf document in Preview 11.0 I want to rearrange layers of objects that I have added. I thought that I had previously been able to rearrange the layers of objects added to a pdf document like I do in Pages. Currently all I can find is Window > Bring All to Front. I want to send one layer back or bring another layer to the front.

Annotations in preview! So i´ve noticed that alot of my annotations disappears although I´m saving multiple times. Some seem to stay saved like 30%. And it is not the last saved that disappears, but more randomly. What can I do, besides buy a PDF-annotation software? Anyone with the same problem?

adding text in preview I am struggling to figure out an easier way to use preview to add text to pdf documents. When I click on the text box, it adds the text box in the middle of the page, meaning I have to drag and type for every bit of text I'm trying to add. The pdf I'm trying to annotate is not a form--I cannot just click in the document and type. Is there no faster way to add text?

Make PDF mark ups in Preview static (not editable) Is there a way to make the mark up changes you add to a PDF, not changeable? Saving or exporting a PDF in Preview does NOT "flatten" the markup changes (with the exception of adding signatures which inexplicably become static on export) Mark up features such as boxes or highlights remain dynamic after saving or exporting. Sending PDFs with markup additions can be manipulated or accidentally moved. "Locking" a file still allows changes to mark up additions.

Right click (Control click) on the object to reveal the drop down menu.
