I just got an iPhone 13 today! I transferred everything over from old phone and everything seems fine. I get in my car and plug my phone to my USB port, which I do everyday. I try to play my music from Apple Music and my music will not play. It starts up like it will play, the music clock goes to 2 seconds and then It just stops. Press play again and it repeats. What’s happening?

when none of these options worked for me I went messing with my setting in the music settings page. I finally got it to work with using my usb cord by going to: settings > music > audio quality > cellular streaming > select none. Mine was set to high quality, but once I switched it to none that solved my problem!!
There is a bug reported with Apple Music. Apple is supposed to have released a fix. Go to Settings>General>Software Update and see if you can access it.
No unfortunately!!! Talked to apple and their response was, and I’m paraphrasing here…***** to be you, there is nothing we can do about it, wait for an update that we don’t know when we will release. Pretty much like I said they told me I was stuck and eventually it will be remedied.
didn’t work for me. same issue. my wife and i have the same model (iphone 13 pro max) hers works and mine doesn’t. i’ve restarted my phone and i tried the EQ “trick” guess i’ll just stick to my airpods until this gets fixed.
It sure doesn’t work for me. I never realized playing music in my car was one of the most important functions of my iPhone before and now it’s gone! I’ve tried turning the equalizer on and off restarting the iPhone turning cellular streaming on and off restarting the iPhone turning high-quality streaming on and off restarting the iPhone etc. it doesn’t work in either one of my cars and my boyfriends iPhone still works fine in both cars. I can’t believe such a basic feature on the most advanced and expensive iPhone ever doesn’t work. Help.
Same. All mentioned suggestions did not work. I thought it was my car. Took it to the dealer and they played all of their phones through my car. My husband has the same phone, no issues. It’s just my phone. :-(
Yes I never changed my cable to play music in my car. Also the iPhone has always had a lightening Port and has never had an USB port. So I am running a lightening to regular USB cable to play music in my car. Hopefully this helps you!

I’m having the same issue with my new phone.
It’ s weird because my husband and i got the same model iPhone 13 pro max and his iPhone doesn’t have this issue. It’s just mine ( so I think it’s something wrong with mine)
