Replacing a Apple TV remote!

Hello!

I accidentally broke the glass touch pad on my Apple TV remote. Which I wasn’t aware was even something I could do… but it happened 😅

Anyway, I need to replace it, but with as little cost as possible. It still functions, but it’s really annoying (and I put tape over so I didn’t get glass in my fingers), and I don’t have AppleCare+ for my Apple TV.

I’m also in Australia, I’ve seen some places (like Amazon US) sell replacement remotes, that are more like a “universal” type remote. Which I don’t mind, but I’ve had issues purchasing things from them and it not being compatible with my other electronics (for other purposes, nothing related to this kind of issue).
