Crypto Apps crashing iOS 15

Two separate apps are crashing - MetaMask and Crypto.com.

MetaMask - when I’m trying to add funds, when I click “buy with Apple Pay” the app just closes.

Crypto.com - they ask to scan in a document to verify my address, when I click “scan document” the app closes the same way as MetaMask.

Neither have ever worked on my iPhone, with or without iOS 15.

It’s like Apple is blocking the apps from performing their task. Apps crash when they try open Apple Wallet or Camera. No messages or alerts or lag, they just dead stop and close.

Is there anything I can do to fix? All app permissions are granted and they phone doesn’t offer me any other options.

You need to understand the pecking order here.

Apple create a new iOS.
App developer gets the up front information
June -developer seed beta comes out
App developer tests it and makes any changes
July/August public betas released where you could have tested it.
September Apple releases new iOS to public.

If the app fails it is 100% it is an app developer thing not an iOS thing. The Android app is different code but it looks like the iOS one.

Seems to be happening with multiple crypto apps/wallets. Have used 3 or 4 different ones and they all just crash abruptly for no reason at random times. Still waiting on information from app developers. Seems to be an iOS thing.

It was an iPhone issue. Dusted off my old Samsung to test and it worked. Solved.
