Since getting my iPhone 13 pro max yesterday, I’ve been receiving sms messages with No Subject as a header in bold. The Show Subject field is toggled off on my phone. Yes, I’ve toggled it on and off. Yes, I’ve restarted my phone. Neither works. Anyone else having this issue?

I ended up doing a hard reset. Pain, but it has been working fine since.

It sounds like you have taken some excellent steps already. Does this occur with all contacts or specific contacts? If this occurs with specific contacts and you delete the thread and create an entirely new thread with that contact, does the issue persist?

I’m experiencing the same issue. Will I lose all of my chat history for that group if I delete the thread? If so, I don’t think deleting the thread and recreating the group is a great solution.
It doesn’t happen with iMessage. It happens with SMS texts from individuals or mixed groups of Apple and non Apple users. Here’s an example:Two of the users here are iPhone users, but because it’s a mixed group, the “No Subject” shows up.
