The mic on the Apple TV in control center is greyed out

The slashed speaker icon/volume button is the mute button for supported configurations, as detailed on the support page. If it is greyed out, then the software remote doesn’t support that feature for your current setup/audio output.
It seems that a mic button in the software remote now only appears when the device language matches one of the supported Siri languages for that region, and only for dictation in a selected text input field.

So the last update nerfed the functionality of the iPhone Apple TV remote app and we can no longer control the Apple TV with it through voice commands? As the Apple TV system software is current and this no longer works is there a way of making this function again?
Update. My Apple TV name is Luzina. So when activating Siri on the phone and saying,”Play Foundation season one episode one on Luzina,” it worked. 👍🏻
