Hi tgatto,

We'd like to help you find the best solution. Some financial and other interactive sites may require users/customers to allow cookies, popup windows and cross-site tracking

• Enable cookies

Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Website tracking:

Uncheck the box beside “Prevent cross-site Tracking

Safari > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies and website data:

Uncheck the box beside Block all cookies

For details:   Change Privacy preferences in Safari on Mac

• Some websites may ask a user  to allow pop-up windows.

    Visit the site.

    Safari > Preferences > Websites > Pop-up windows

Click the box next to website and choose “Allow”.

For details: Change Websites preferences in Safari on Mac

Note: This is a privacy feature. Once transaction is over, set this back to defaults.

We hope this helps you reach a solution. Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

Hi tgatto,

We would further recommend seeing if this happens with any other browsers outside of Safari if you have. If you do not have, we recommend seeing if you can update to the latest macOS Big Sur since you mention being on macOS Catalina. You can follow the steps here: Update macOS on Mac. If you do not meet the requirements for updating, and if the issue remains after if you update, you'll want to reach out to Apple Support. You can use the link below, if needed.

Hi tgatto,

Thank you for sharing these additional details. With the further isolation to only happening in Safari, and having the latest available software available, you have tried some great steps so far. For this to be further investigated,  you'll want to reach out to Apple Support. You can use the link below, if needed.
