When I purchased the newest generation of iPad I assumed the thunderbolt would work like my MacBook Pro thunderbolt ports and I could use my CAC Card Reader on my iPad. So far, not the case. Does anyone have a way this has worked for them?
There is no driver for the reader in iOS.
Power draw from the port might exceed what it puts out.
Best bet would be check with the manufacturer see if they offer a compatible reader and app.
