Camera zoomed in while video calls

We appreciate that information and are here to help. Just to clarify, have you tried restarting the system and trying again? Have you tried deleting Instagram, restarting the iPhone and reinstalling application? Also, during the your FaceTime and Instagram calls do you see the icon in the bottom middle of the screen that says 1x or 2x? Finally, have you installed any new applications recently that alters the cameras settings? We ask this so we can try to isolate where the issue is coming from.

From our understanding, your video calls are zoomed in when using FaceTime or Instagram. We can certainly understand your concern and can help provide some insight.

We would like to ask you a couple of questions in order to get a better understanding. First, what exact version of iOS are you currently using? We ask as the menus and options can change slightly between versions of iOS, and we want to make sure we provide the most accurate steps. You can locate this by going to Settings > General > About. Also, are all applications up to date that use video calls?
