New iPhone using twice as much storage than old iPhone after transferring.

Went from iPhone X to iPhone 13 Pro. Before purchasing noted iPhone was only using 60GB of storage and purchased a 128GB. During transfer some apps did not fully download because storage capacity was reached. After deleting several apps it was able to complete, but now sitting at 126GB and not able to fully use camera due to limited storage.

Is it possible that you had Optimize iPhone Storage for Photos set to ON in your old iPhone and You have the same feature set to OFF on your new iPhone? Let's doublecheck. Open Settings ➔ Photos ➔ iCloud Photos: Set this to ONOptimize iPhone Storage: Place a checkmark here.

Allow a few hours for the optimization to take place and then check whether that has freed up some space on your new iPhone.
