Why keynote magic move animation doesn't animate character "i"

Greetings community,

I am having some trouble with animating the character "i". See the gif down bellow to see how the animation is performed:

What I tried:

• Toggeled between Match By Object, By Word, By Character. But, none of them worked
• There's nothing wrong with the letter "i", as I tried to simulate the probelm using another example with the same confiuration(see the gif)

Question: Why magic move keynote animation doesn't match the character from my previous slide? Is this a bug or a feature? am I missing something
