Thermal paste

Hi. People

I have a 2019 mac air. I’m planning to change the thermal paste on my mac. But, the question I have in mind is, does this mac model need thermal paste replacement ? Is there a thermal paste on the i5 processors ? I know by changing thermal paste it won’t make that much of an improvement in terms of thermal, performance etc. but, I just want to do it as a yearly routine. I’m planning to use Thermal Grizzly Bear Kryonaut.

Thanks in advance

There is never any need for such a "routine" with any electronic device. Modern thermal paste does not age. All you are doing is a waste of time and opening up your system exposes it for all sorts of possible "collateral damage". Having been in electronic design all my life, I know that there is zero need to do what you plan.
