When buying a used Apple Watch

Hello, I am looking at buying an Apple Watch from Facebook market place, since it’s cheaper. How can I tell before buying it, if it’s locked? Thanks!

You can only be sure if the buyer has removed the activation lock by following ALL the steps on this page;
