My HomePod Mini has twice in the last 2 months played a random alarm. There doesn’t seem to be any logic to it’s timing and it stops when I tap the top (which also flashes along with the tone).
It is a repeating 1-2 second tone which I’ve never heard before.
I don’t use the HomePod for any alarm functions (just music and CCTV).
I have a video but this platform will not allow me to upload it.
Any ideas what this might be? Thanks

Mine does that when I ask for a 3 minute timer.. I get a 3 am alarm! You can look in the home app to see if it has set these alarms. Or just ask it to “delete all alarms”

I just web searched "HomePod Mini alarm", because mine just did this. I have no "Alarms" or "Timers" set on this recently purchased item. I'm a bit confused as to what initiated the alarm like noise. Maybe it's a software or hardware malfunction.
