HomePod not setting alarm

My HomePod used to let me set an alarm by asking but the last two days it’s started responding by saying I have to finish in the home app. Why can’t I set alarms by asking anymore?

Like this morning it was showing my alarms set but they didn’t go off and my daughter was late for school. I have reset my HomePod, I have rebooted my iPhone 12 Pro max, I rebooted my network, my HomePod and iPhone is fully updated, I have deleted all my alarms and rebuilt them to see if there was corrupted data in home app but still same issue. I already know apple can’t help I’m just wondering if anybody else is experiencing this issue after updating HomePod to HomePod software 15.0

Random HomePod Mini Alarms My HomePod Mini has twice in the last 2 months played a random alarm. There doesn’t seem to be any logic to it’s timing and it stops when I tap the top (which also flashes along with the tone). It is a repeating 1-2 second tone which I’ve never heard before. I don’t use the HomePod for any alarm functions (just music and CCTV). I have a video but this platform will not allow me to upload it. Any ideas what this might be? Thanks

I don't know, but check the Home app to see what it says. Perhaps HomePod is having trouble recognizing your voice for personal requests. Rebooting your router and HomePod may also clear any weird communication issues.
