Order in process status

Hi, I just bought an iPhone 11 and I have already placed the order, but my credit card has not yet been charged. Does Apple work in a similar way as Amazon ?

According to the apple Arrives Oct 19 - Oct 26 page, around that time will the value of the item be deducted from my credit card?
