How to find an app on my Home Screen so I can move it to page 1?

I want to move an app to my first page of apps. I know how to search to start the app, but how do I find where it is on my Home Screen to move it? I’ve looked at every page and don’t see it, so at some point I must have put it into a folder, and I hate to go through every single folder on all my pages, so I’m hoping there’s a way to highlight it or identify it in some way, or even just move it to page one without having to know where it currently is. Thanks for any assistance.

That definitely seems like a good solution, but it doesn’t work as described. If you long press an app from there (the App Library), you get options like share app, delete app, and any app-specific options that may be available. You do not get the option to move the app as you would if you long press it outside of the App Library. Any other suggestions?

I should also note that you may also get an option that says “add to home screen,” but I have yet to figure out what this option does. I’ve tried it on many apps, and it doesn’t seem to do anything of significance.

Hello rryanp,

When you see those options appear during the long press, please keep holding the icon. This will move the icon to a home screen and allow you to move it to where you like. This can be denoted by the minus sign appearing above the app.

The add to home screen feature moves an app to the home screen, and from there it can be moved as well.

Cheers!
