Buying an iPhone for a user in Russia

Hi! I would like to buy a phone to someone located in Russia. 1. Can I use Apple Pay. 2. Is the warranty service is avalanche for the phone that purchased outside the US in the US? Thanks !

1) You should be able to use Apple Pay, if the store which you're buying the iPhone accepts the payment method.

2) If you purchase the device outside of Russia (in your case this is in the United States), the phone will work for your friend however the iPhone warranty is not international so he would have to ship it back to you incase an issue arises where your friend needs to claim on the warranty.
