I have 5 old Ipad2s that I need to delete completely and the new APPLE ID passwords is not working. what to do now.

My old old old I-pad 2 wont erase when I am asked to enter my APPLE ID password even though I changed it and it works on my newer devices.

If the iPad devices still show in iCloud, erase them from there.


Activation Lock is intended as a theft deterrent, and not easy to bypass. We cannot help you bypass Activation Lock. You need that Apple ID and password. If you lack the password, you’ll need proof of purchase showing a serial number or other legal paperwork for Apple to help.

Otherwise, recycle them.
