Login Take Too Long

I transfer from my old Mac to my new one. After the transfer was complete, I tried to log in, but it’s taking too long to open. It’s been loading all day. Is that normal?

Not any kind of normal that I know of...makes it hard to get any work done.

You can Reboot and try again.

Log out, sleep, wake, restart, or shut down your Mac - Apple ...

The most trouble free way to move to a new machine, is using the Setup Assistant on the initial boot of a brand new machine— you have one shot here. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT205749

If that opportunity has past, the second best way is use the Migration Assistant.
