My iPad Pro would not read SD card using Apple USB-C to SD card reader. It worked once and never again.

Also, if you haven’t already done so, make sure to Back up iPad, then Update iPadOS for the latest features, security updates and fixes.

Thank you 1ssmith for your reply. I tried all of that already and still iPad Pro doesn't recognize the SD card any longer.
Please remember IT WORKED ONCE, but next day following the exact same steps the iPad didn't read the card.
I'm on iPadOS 15 on a brand new iPad, reader and card.
PS: The card and the reader work fine as I tested them on another device (laptop).

same problem here… before update to ios 15 my card reader works…
and now not working anymore, after plug the sd card, nothing happened…
but to open an hdd it is working, only for opening an sd card
