Imac and 'indexing' issues?

My imac constantly sounds like it's 'indexing' in the background. I've turned spotlight off just in case but still sounds like it. Looks like I have high WindowServer CPU usage in activity monitor?

Any ideas?

Spotlight Indexing My indexing stopped a week ago. I went to System Preferences > Spotlight, added and removed hard drive/s from Privacy. When I look at the indexing (typing into Spotlight Search area), it says 'Indexing...' and the process bar is full throbbing blue. It's been that way for over 30 hours. I looked in Activity Monitor > I found a few a few mdworkers under Process Name (_spotlight under User), with different % CPU values. How do I know if it's even working?

Finder not responding because of Fileproviderd 100% CPU usage Hello, My Finder is not responding anymore. The items on my desktop are not organised anymore. I also noticed that Fileproviderd is at 100% CPU usage. When I open Spotlight Search it is indexing, I left it running for hours but only little progress. Already restarted the computer, removed Google Drive, OneDrive etc. When starting up in Safe-Mode I have the same problem. My machine: Apple M1 Max Mac OS Ventura 13.2 (22D49) Any ideas? Thanks

Activity Monitor Process Percentages Taking Up Title Bar Activity Monitor Process Percentages Taking Up Title Bar Recently, much of the title bar on my iMac Pro running Monterey is filled up with 20 process percentages from Activity Monitor even if I don't have it running. How do I remove these percentages and keep them from loading again?
