USB-C
I have an iMac (Retina 5K, 27-inch, Late 2015) and I'm going to buy an audio interface that needs to be wired to a usb-c cable port . Is that possible?

No USB-C connections—for USB or for Thunderbolt—that far back, as you've undoubtedly already noticed looking at the back of that iMac.
Check with the audio interface vendor to see if they can suggest whether a dongle of some sort will work with the interface, or if there is an alternate connection for or a related-but-different audio interface.
