After updating to the latest ios, i can’t seem to scan qr code in safari and when i tried to scan it with camera, it also refuse to scan it. Please get back to me because i need to scan qr code through safari everyday for work.
i am using iphone 11

Yes i know i can scan QR codes using the camera app. But i did mention that, i required to log in into the webiste first and then scan it there. It did open the camera app but it won’t scan the QR code.

Thanks for clarifying the issue. Since you need to use a particular website to scan the QR code, try to clear your Safari cookies and history. Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

i have the same problem with nissashak. I have clear history, I still can't scan qr code .. I suggest you please try to do as we did by using the safari website scan qr code without using the camera app ..
I also have the same issue with the most recent iOS 15 update. Tried several different QR apps and also just the camera and get a safari error message every time. Definitely an issue with the latest iOS update.
I have the same issue. Upgraded my iphone to iOS15 and can't scan any QR code anymore (bank, whatsapp,...).
Surely an issue in the new iOS.
There's a new UI for scanning QR codes, so guess it's not a coincidence...
I have same issue here. I cannot scan QR code in safari after updating my iphone to ios 15. I also tried to scan QR code in chrome (alternative way) but still it does not work. this is so stressful as I need to scan QR code in safari for work. Please help us..
The default iOS QR Code reader app is not working anymore since the very day I've done the 15.1.1 update on my iPhone 12 Mini.
Third party app are still working but obviously fed up with ads.
I have not try to read QR Code with Safari, I don't have to use this method.
On my iPad, everything is working fine but I'm on 15.0.2.
This is definitively a iOS related problem.

I also have troubles scanning QR Codes with a web-based QR-Scanner in Safari, like for example Instascan:

It does not detect the QR Code. Even after switching off all the GPU processes in Safari the scanner is a lot more sensitive than before. It takes more time to detect a code.
I’ve just recently updated to iOS 15.2 and now I have the same problem. Prior to update, I could scan QR code from Safari. It can’t be the website developer. Any solution to this?

I am having the same problem. I just updated my iOS to 15 and the QR scanning function no longer works.
Checked my camera settings, restarted my phone, the embedded QR scanner no longer works.
