i cannot get appletv to work on my computer and i cannot find my subscription to turn it off

where are the settings to change my apple tv subscriptions?

On macOS 10.14 or earlier, you can watch Apple TV+ on the web at tv.apple.com.

You can manage your subscriptions in e.g. the iTunes application. How to cancel a subscription from Apple - Apple Support
