How to force iCloud Photos app to sync the rest of my new photos?

This thing has been stuck with "Updating 1 Item" all day, it's a full day behind the photos on my phone.

For clarification, the photos have completed syncing from my phone to iCloud but will not sync from iCloud to my Mac.

Some Photos not syncing to iCloud I imported some photos into the macOS (version 10.14.6) Photos app . For some reason, those photos are not syncing to iCloud and do not show up on my iPhone 12 (OsX 14.6). iCloud Photos option is ON in macOS Photos and also ON in the settings for Photos on the iPhone. I also checked on my icloud.com account and the imported photos are not there either. Why ? Thanks for your help.

How can I force Photos to sync with iCloud? I took some pictures today and they don't show up on my Mac. I shutdown Photos on my Mac and the camera app and photos on my iPhone and restarted them. Nothing. Ideas?

Iphone photos not syncing to iCloud I've recently upgraded my iCloud storage to 200gb, and when i've synced my iPhone, only some of my photos are showing in iCloud Photos. For instance i have around 5k photos on my phone, but when i look for them on the iCloud it only shows around 400 (with the earliest being from May this year). The photos on my phone take around 50gb, so i have more then enough storage on the cloud. Photos are turned on under iCloud syncing. Can somebody please explain if i need to do anything else to sync all of the photos from my iPhone? I'm using iOS 13.6.1, and macOS Catalina 10.15.6

You have not mentioned which os is used in Mac what is the version , is it updated / upgraded , what about iPhone ?

You can force import that item from iPhone to Mac Transfer photos and videos from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support

Thanks but none of these contain the answer. I believe the actual answer might unfortunately be, "You can't, this is a missing feature of iCloud Photos"
