IOS 15 shared with you photos

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities! Thanks for posting about the Shared with You feature issue you've noticed. We'd be glad to see how we can help.

Are these photos for conversations that have not been deleted as of yet? We ask because the Shared with You content isn't actually saved in Photos. It just appears there, so if you delete either the photo in the conversation or the conversation itself, the photo will get deleted as well and no longer appear there. If that's not the case, just let us know.

That's great info, and it does sound like things are working slightly differently than expected. With that in mind, it'd be best to Get Support directly from Apple moving forward, as they'll be able to delve deeper into this issue with you. Reach them using the previous link.
