loading a game CD

I am trying to load a game on my Mac. I put the game CD in the USB superdrive. The cd goes in but nothing happens. The game is Starcraft It says its able to run on my Mac

iMac 21.5″, macOS 11.6

If you have a Mac running macOS Big Sur, there is a 0% chance that it will run on your machine.

Starcraft was abandoned years ago and was never updated to run on modern Macs as far as I'm aware.
